After his arrival, Christian Wulff was given a comprehensive insight into the activities of the FRICKE Group. He was particularly interested in the group's strong commitment to training. There are currently 234 trainees employed by the FRICKE Group, compared to 44 in 2010.
During the subsequent tour of the GRANIT PARTS logistics centre, Wulff praised the family-run FRICKE Group's innovation and clear growth strategy. “That's what makes the German Mittelstand so special. Politicians must do everything in their power to support these medium-sized enterprises, and to create the best possible framework so that they continue to invest in Germany as a business location,” said former German president Christian Wulff.
