Sustainability at FRICKE

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the current generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
- Brundtland Report 1987

Ecology | Economy | Social issues

Growth has been one of the driving forces behind the FRICKE Group for 100 years. As a family-owned company, we have always striven to continuously develop so that we might handle future challenges effectively. If we want to ensure the success of our company for generations to come, we know that sustainability has a key role to play.

For us, sustainability isn’t just about focusing on environmental protection and climate action. Based on the three pillars of sustainability - ecology, economy and social issues - our aim is to contribute to a future on our planet that’s worth living, while ensuring that our company continues to operate sustainably.

Here at the FRICKE Group, we have already addressed the issue of sustainability at various levels to ensure that it remains a key part of our corporate goals. With our WE ACT project team (founded in 2020, and in which all FRICKE Group employees can participate), we have already taken the first step towards greater sustainability. We have a core team consisting of members of the management team plus colleagues from various divisions that is committed to implementing sustainable projects (a wide variety of which have already been implemented).

Since 2022, the development of the FRICKE Group's sustainability goals has been shaped by the new sustainability management team. Going forward, this team will help to develop cross-company strategies in order to better integrate sustainable management into all areas of the FRICKE Group.
