New Management Duo at Gartenland

Ralf-Peter Matthies and David Schulze Hillert have managed the business of Gartenland GmbH since 1 January 2020.

Ralf-Peter Matthies and David Schulze Hillert have headed the business of Gartenland GmbH since 1 January 2020. With their relevant experience in the field of garden, forestry and municipal technology, they continue to drive the positive development of the company.

Heeslingen, 4 March 2020 - Two well-versed experts in the fields of garden, forestry and municipal technology took over the management of Gartenland GmbH in Zeven on 1 January 2020. Ralf-Peter Matthies and David Schulze Hillert can already look back on over 30 years of experience in the industry. With this expertise, the two new managing directors will in future expand the Gartenland product range with exclusive brands for the specialist trade, intensify existing cooperation and further optimise the logistics concept.

Ralf-Peter Matthies has been responsible for purchasing and sales at Gartenland GmbH for the last five years as an authorised signatory. Prior to this, he spent eleven years in various positions in service and sales at DOLMAR, the specialist for motorised tools. Gartenland GmbH, as part of the FRICKE Group, considers itself fortunate to have been able to secure his valuable insights into the sector and the company in the long term. Matthies will be responsible for and drive forward the wholesale trade with the Gartenland range.

With David Schulze Hillert, the FRICKE Group was able to gain an additional expert for the municipal technology sector for Gartenland GmbH. The graduate industrial engineer looks back on 15 years at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG. Among other things, he worked there as a service and branch manager. His main area of responsibility at Gartenland GmbH will be the further development of trade and service activities in connection with the manufacturer Kubota.

"We have set ourselves ambitious goals for the next few years with which we will ensure the long-term growth of Gartenland GmbH. Our market leader position in the Kubota compact tractor range up to 60 hp and the associated increase in market share in the agricultural sector will be the focus of our efforts in future", says David Schulze Hillert.

"Of course we also want to offer our customers an even broader product portfolio in the coming years. To this end, we are working intensively on expanding exclusive cooperations with brands such as Efco and Bertolini. The improvement of our delivery processes and times is also a very important goal for us in this context," adds Ralf-Peter Matthies.
